Tech Launch Arizona

This year we again acknowledged the work we must do to fully embody our core value of inclusion. Our TLA team is rising to the challenge, pursuing strategies to close the gender and racial gaps we see in our inventor and commercialization partner groups.

Expanding Perspectives

In FY20, our "Flourish HERE" event focused on engaging women in innovation and entrepreneurship.

Later in the year, we participated in #ShutDownSTEM and #ShutDownAcademia, recognizing the need to pause, stop doing “business as usual,” and reflect on where we are, how far we have yet to go, and how we’ll get there. These efforts have fueled development of strategies and new ideas targeted at increasing our engagement with women and people of color in FY21.

Building Our Extended Team

As we work to enhance our team, we are prioritizing the engagement of diverse faces and voices. These efforts will span employee and partner recruitment efforts, most notably our I-Corps and Commercialization Partner networks.
